Compliment, me?

Im complimented on occasion. Its kinda weird for me. I dont always kno what to say or how to react. Im not used to things like that.
I had really low self esteem when I was younger, so when Im givin a compliment.....like I said, its just kinda weird.
The compliment that sticks out in my head the most is "youre beautiful". Usually said by my husband, but other people on occasion.
My husband will sit and stare at me....me, bein the weird one, used to bein stared at, but never without something to say about it......(Im the kind of person that says, what the fuck you lookin at!? Lol!) Ill ask him, WHAT?
He just looks in my eyes and says, "Nothin. I cant just stare at you? Youre beautiful."
See! What do you say to that?! Its so sweet, yet so corny, and he does it all the time, and I LOVE IT!!!!! Lol
Hes such a sweetie!
People could compliment me left and right! I dont need it, though. The only one I need to hear is from the lips of my love =)
When he stops sayin that, Ill start worryin....

Sounds pretty familiar to me... my hubby does the same thing and self esteem has never been one of my strong points... Enjoy it and know that you deserve it, and most of all BELEIVE IT!!!

OMG...he is the sweetest thing, isn't he?I had one like that, he used to draw me when I wasn't even there! He was 12 yrs. younger than me and looked at me like I was a christams tree full of presents or sumthin! Blew my mind..God I miss being adored like that...he got away damnit! I used to follow my brothers example on compliments...if someone paid him one he would be a smartass and say Yep...I know! Or ya, it's a curse to be so good looking, then strut around.....I can't accept em without a joke either...it's a kind of god given grace to be able to do that...when someone gives you a sincere compliment, they don't need to be met with a smartass reply! I'm gonna keep checkin back to see if you get any helpful tips!

It freaks me out a lil but never when my hubby doesit,  only when strangers do it. I think do I have a booger hanging out or what? Then I normally ask one of my kids and if the response is no I always say loud enough for like the whole room to hear... What the fuck is that ass looking at then... Usually clears the situation right up. lol  It gets on my nerves when guys stare at me right in front of my hubby I think wtf like I am not here with a 6'0 " 225lbs man that would stomp a mud whole through ur face... Ne ways listen to me ramble blah blah blah... you are very lucky to have some 1 like him in ur life Good love , health and happiness
