Big boy bed

So today Finn climbed out of his crib and fell all the way to the hard wood floors. Hes completely fine:) Just a little bump on the noggin. Still though I knew this was gonna happen (hes a climber), but I kept thinking it was too early for him to be in a big boy bed.Hes only 14 months old!
I was completely wrong about that...hes sleeping soundly all by himself right now in his big boy bed!! Im so glad I got rid of his crib!!
Update...
He loved the bed for the first night...has been hell for 2 days!
But went to bed at 8 again without a peep tonight:)
ugh...this is harder than i thought is would be, lol.

They grow up so fast dont they? Hailey wasnt must over a year when she got a toddler bed. We did have troubles keeping her in it for the first few months, she would get up at night and crawl in bed with me a lot, but habits change, thankfully.

Did you have to the side rails on his bed because I have a 17 month old and I am wanting to put him in his big boy bed but I am afraid that he will keep getting out. Was it easy? I am still nervous because he is always wanting us right now. Any tips would be great. Thanks
