So this week Mike is working daylight instead of 2nd shift. So I set the alarm for 3:13am rolled over to make sure he gets out of bed and all of a sudden heard 4 quick shots from a GUN right outside our house!!! We didnt hear any cars so I dont know if they were on foot or what........ so anyway, we both get out of bed, he gets ready, I go make his coffee and then go outside just to make sure no one is layin on our sidewalk, I see 3 cop cars go past our house with the spot lights on and they went along the baseball fields, but they didnt see anything . I also saw my neighbor was out on her porch, I am thinking she is the one who called the police, she is always calling them and then I hear 6 more shots go off a little further away from us ( like a few blocks away) Im freaking out!!! I didint want Mike to go to work, was afraid either A) someone was gonna shoot at him OR B) they would come back to our area and shoot at our house or something. I hate living here, This is not the first time I posted a shooting here close to our house. This use to be a super nice area. Now its all low life, drug loosers!! I wish we could just pack up and find another house in a safer neighborhood by tomorrow!!
Im afraid to let my children out, Im afraid to go out...........
