after a long looooooooong day of running with a bowl full of Moose Tracks Ice Cream.
Nope it's not very good for the body - and Parth will probably hang me come weigh in day but.....
It's this or choke the life out of the husband ....since we have to appear in court together Thursday night - his abscence might be noticed!
He has been particularly juvenille lately and it's really getting on my nerves......just when I think things are back on track or we are at least a wee bit more than civil...BAM! he says something that's a reminder of a disagreement we had that started the whole thing.
Tonight I decided I was NOT missing my Stitchers group. I love those ladies. I needed to just sit and crochet a bit ...you know ...do something for me even though I'm working on projects for others. Anyway.... I asked Eldest to clean the kitchen for me after dinner. "No Problem"
Apparently cleaning the kitchen means just putting the dinner plates in the dishwasher and the condiments in the fridge.
The ENTIRE FREAKING SINK was FULL of bowls, platters, long utensils etc.
So - after I walked in the door at 9:10 ( because I had to stop and get milk with the 5 yr old on the way home because you know the other adult here just could not bear the 2 minute drive to WAWA to get it) I had to get the 5 yr old cleaned and ready for bed...then a phone call.... then had to re-put the 8 yr old to bed TWICE. Only after that was I able to come down here at five minutes to ten and do all the dishes that had been left sitting so nicely.
And now here I sit - on my fat rump , eating my ice cream, listening to HIM grumble that I am at the computer once aghain?!?!?! HUH As if I have been here at all today.....
Stupid man.... oh wait that's an oxy moron right??
You should have your own show. What a comedy routine. The funny thing is, it is the same story in everyone's house. I asked husband to pick up milk from Wawa last night (he drives right by it). I was at jury duty and went to pick up the baby (which he usually does). I saved him the trip. When I was fixing dinner, I opened the fridge. No milk. He forgot. I had called him on his cell when he was 10 minutes away from Wawa!!!! WTF.
Well I hope you enjoyed your ice cream. Good luck at weigh in.
