Now, instead of just bringing dead mice or moles into my home and to my kids; the cats are sneaking into the window and bringing live chipmunks in. So nice to blast out of bed in the morning to catch a live chipmunk. I did tell our cats they were retired when moved from the city to the country. Yeah -I regret that! Its just all fun and games now!

Funny you should have a post about that....I just responded to your zoo post and mentioned about a chipmunk we had in our house....you may want to let the next chipmunk visit awhile and see how B reacts!!! lol The one we had became a secret friend to Phillip....he would visit with him in the middle of the night....he would just sit there staring at the fridge...I thought it was all very "freaky" to say the least....but when I watched one night without interfering, this chipmunk came out from under the fridge and came right to Phillip....they visited awhile and then Phillip went back to bed and the chipmunk went back under the fridge....i did eventually catch the chipmunk and take him outside where he made a home in my garden....
