A Look Into Corey's Future

Corey has decided to join the Army National Guard after he graduates High School in June 2008. He has signed his life to the Army National Guard for 8 years. He will be doing his monthly drills starting September 15th and 16th, 2007.

Corey will be leaving for Boot Camp on June 25, 2008 and will be located in Fort Sill, Oklahoma for 8 weeks and 3 days, from there he will be going to Fort Jackson, South Carolina for 6 and a half weeks for A.I.T. (Advanced Individual Training). Then he will be in Jericho, Vermont for a week.

Corey’s drill weekends from then on will be at the Westminster Armory in Westminster, Vermont. All of the weekends Corey will be doing before graduation will also be in Colchester, Vermont. Corey is very excited about this move he will be doing in the future.

Corey job he has selected is Medical Administration where he will be doing medical information for patients in the hospital on the computer. He will basically be putting all their information on a computer and helping with the process of their treatment.

A Look Into Ryan’s Future

Ryan has decided to join the Army National Guard after he graduates High School in June 2008. He has signed his life to the Army National Guard for 8 years. He will be doing his monthly drills starting November 17th and 18th of 2007.

Ryan will be leaving for Boot Camp on July 16, 2008 and will be located in Fort Jackson, South Carolina for 9 weeks, from there he will be going to Fort Eustis, Virginia for 5 weeks and 3 days for A.I.T. (Advanced Individual Training). Then he will be in Jericho, Vermont for a week.

Ryan’s drill weekends from then on will be at the Bennington Armory in Bennington, Vermont. All of the weekends Ryan will be doing before graduation will also be in Colchester, Vermont. Ryan is very excited about this move he will be doing in the future.

Ryan’s job he has selected is Transportation Management Coordinator. Basically what Ryan’s job is he will be a DMV officer. He will be stopping vehicles and see what they will be carrying and why they are carrying it.

Ryan and Corey have already achieved new ranks in the Army National Guard. As of December 8, 2007. Ryan and Corey have moved from Private to Private 2. Ryan is also the 1st Squad Leader for 1st Platoon for January 2008's Drill. The January 2008's Drill Ryan and Corey are doing Claymore Mines Training and Winter Workout. The Winter Workout is to see how they handle the cold.
