AHHHHHH Im scared

Ok my son is in Cub Scouts.. Its great he loves it, but suddenly Im expected to volunteer.. I have 3 kids and no experience in the scouts at all...My Dh is an Eagle Scout but hes not home much. They want me to be committee chair person.  They want me to organize the Christmas skating party.  They want me to organize the Blue and Gold ceremony.. I'll be blunt. I dont know how to do those things.  I have been a SAHM for 4 yrs now and have no experience organizing anything but birthday parties. I have no problem with doing it but I'm not sure how good I will be.  I know it might not be much to most people but to me its alot!/

Jul. 7, 2008 at 1:00 PM You might be surprised at yourself! I think it this an opportunity that has presented itself to you for some reason and you should try it. If it turns out to be overwhelming, you can always gracefully step down. good luck ,hun, and have fun with it. (don't worry about what others think concerning the way you handle things either)
