Almost Time!!

He is almost HOME!!! Next week I will have my man back in my arms, feeling whole again!! I can't even express how much I have missed him, or how deeply the boys need their daddy here!! I am so nervous, but good nervous! Butterflies like when you go on a first date, and I am more excited than I can remember being in a very very long time! I could go on and on like this, but I have some cleaning and preparing to do!! ITS ALMOST TIME!!! I am gonna kiss his lips right off his face!! LOL!! :-)

Congrats! And I just want to say that I have such a great deal of respect for all your military spouse/mommy's! My mom was one, and so I have seen first hand how much of yourself you have to put into your children and all aspects of the home and cars, etc. when you are missing your other half, and also how hard it is to be without your spouse for so long! You all are a special bunch!

Jun. 26, 2008 at 8:56 AM Thanks!! It can be very hard at times, but the reunions are amazing and you really learn to appreciate your spouse. And I believe deployments either make or break marriages, and fortunately, ours has only grown stronger over the years. This is our second deployment, and I didn't realize how challenging it would be, especially this time, with two small children and a teenager! Military spouses are always grateful for the recognition of our own personal sacrifices for the country, in addition to our soldier who is doing the actual fighting for us......MUCH THANKS
