The trick to going vegan is to have a list of really good recipes to replace those foods you'll really miss. There are some great recipes for hamburger replacement - made out of crushed beans or soy or sometimes mushrooms. The trick to being vegan is to be sure you are getting "complete proteins". These can be achieved with the right mixture of beans and rice. Otherwise there can be funny consequences like your hair falling out & nails getting brittle.
