I'm Back Again For More... and this time... I'm hitting everything out there that has or currently is bothering me over the last century or so....  So, if you have a problem, you know where to direct your questions, comments, or whatever it is that you feel you need to direct in my direction !  So with out wasting anymore time....

My short preface will be this.  I can think you are an Idiot regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual preference, age, nationality, or if you have your pets spayed or neutered or not.  I'm insulted by all groups equally.  So I'll call it like I see it.

THINGS THAT BUG ME...(besides having to make the above short preface)

First up
The Reverend Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.
I'll admit, I'm not an expert on the Reverend.  I'm sure he's done some good things.  It's just that as far as I've seen...he's OK at times...AT TIMES, internationally.  But here in the states...he just looks for a fight.  But that's what he gets paid to do I guess.

According to their website Rainbow PUSH Coalition
"The RPC is a progressive organization fighting for social change. As a mighty coalition of conscience; workers, women and people of color have the power to make the American Dream a Reality!"

So of course with all the problems in the United States, they should tackle....Professional Baseball.
The group was upset that the Atlanta Braves didn't have enough black American players on their roster.
They have players from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Cuba, Columbia, and a black player from the Netherlands.

It's not like they are holding Klan meetings in the dugout between innings.

Come on...Professional sporting teams care about 2 things.  Making money, and winning.  For the most part, the 2 go hand in hand..  The Braves have Black Americans in the front office, the coaching staff, and throughout their organization, not to mention people of other nationalities. 
Major League Baseball players that are African American are currently around 8 or 9% .  According to the 2000 Census, those claiming "black alone" (that is not a combination of races) is 12%.  It should also be noted that the NFL is 65% black and the NBA is nearly 80% black.
I don't hear of many protest groups looking for a more even distribution in those leagues.  European players are a fast rising sector in the NBA too.  Why is that? because they are the better players and that's where they happen to be from.  The NBA will get a guy from China if they think he will help them win.  Baseball will go to Latin America, Australia, Canada, Japan...wherever they can find the players to best help them win.

So please...go find some more worthwhile causes you are working on, and take your money and people off baseball and put it in these other areas.

This is NOT, I repeat NOT a joke.

The military has been looking into non-lethal Chemical weapons alternatives for war.  Things that will diminish the loss of life they inflict upon their enemies.

Possible ideas have included weapons that "mark" the "bad guys" with a different color that would show up on infrared cameras.  Another idea was shooting them with chemicals that would attract large numbers of rats, biting bugs and other such annoyances.   And yes....the gay bomb which would....are you ready for this

"Enemies would left helpless by mass gay orgies, as soldiers were irresistibly attracted to one another, weapons researchers believed."

The Pentagon has confirmed there was a proposal but they say they rejected it quickly.

Rejected?

Sorry guys, no work for you....

Next item....
Resealable bags.
We've all used the Ziploc bags at one time or another in our life.  Then companies started making certain items in a resealable bag to begin with.  Shredded Cheese, various fruits and vegetables, frozen chicken, some pet food, etc.  The main objective being to help keep things fresher longer.
Sometimes...as with all things, marketers take an idea and go too far.
Here is what I bought the other day at target.
Hanes  T-shirts, 3-pack, in a Resealable Bag.   Not only was it in a resealable bag...they listed that on the bullet points of the pluses of buying their product.

I just can't imagine the scenario in which I need just one t-shirt but think to myself "if only there was a way Sean could somehow keep these other 2 shirts fresh in the bag for later use".

People who park at the curb in front of the entrance at the Grocery Store should be taken out and flogged in the Town Square as a warning to others to not do the same.  I mean come on.  It's the grocery store. PARK.  Another thing, with the prices I'm paying...can't Dillons or Price Cutter afford some 3rd level rent-a-cop to tell people "you can't park there"

 

Am I the only person who wants to get in a piece of junk car and just ram that guy's back bumper?  License plate numbers should be cell phone numbers...particularly if you are a dumb ass.

 

 

Michael Vick and Dogfighting –

 

First off…what this guy did was inhuman, despicable and Bob Barker should neuter him on stage for one last Hurrah on Price is Right.

 

OH…in case you have been under a rock.  This guy is…or, WAS the Quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, had a $130 million contract.  He funded a ring for dog fighting, he trained dogs, he had them fight to the death and killed ones that didn't do well in training by ways I won't detail.

BUT, this story makes me think of other things akin to it that I hate just as much.

CNN, HBO, Fox News, etc.  They have all done specials on this where they show graphic video of the Dog Fights.  Ridiculous.  They might as well have a morning radio show where they have lesbians kiss and parents cut off their fingers to win tickets for their kids.

Also, let's not forget some other pro athletes who have skated by on crimes.

I'll just mention a couple

Leonard Little, formerly of the UT Vols and currently in the NFL

In 1998 he got drunk on his birthday and killed a woman, Susan Gutweiler, driving in another car.  His Blood Alcohol level was nearly .20.

His punishment?

90 days in jail, 4 years probation, and 1000 hours of community service.

They Say Vick will get 1 to 4 years for killing dogs.  He should probably get more..
But…come on, 90 days???

Oh yeah…

I forgot to mention, the judge banned him from drinking.  Even though…he was arrested for drinking and driving and speeding.  Somehow the DUI was dismissed that time.

Yeah...that book he wants to write on how he would have killed them is apparently back on.  Why?  Mostly because the Goldman family wants the book to come out so they can get some of the money owed them.
I'll repeat: Ron Goldman's Father and Sister want O.J. to write the book so they can make profits off of the death of their own blood.

Oh by the way - WHILE "BAKED" he admitted that he killed Ron Goldman and Nicole just the other day according to CNN  !  Like we didn't already know that.... hhhmmmm.....

And of course, Oprah is in the middle of it letting them duke it out on her show.  I doubt she will, but if Oprah endorses the book, maybe she will finally take a fall.

Ugh she irks me.  Someone needs to give her the "BIG GIVE" if you know what I mean...

 

 

School Uniforms –

Occasional stereotypical male fantasies aside… (that means you SEAN)

Are there any schools left that DON'T have uniforms??

 

I know I know…

"But Erin, this keeps the kids from having to feel insecure about the other kids having nicer or more expensive clothes.  It keeps them from forming cliques.  It keeps them from corrupting their social values and perspectives."

If that's true…I'll kiss your Ass in Macy's window my friend.

Don't you think that when the poor kid's uniform is worn and ragged because it has to be worn every day because it's the only one the kid has…someone may notice?

Besides, even if they gave them out free, its not going to stop kids from being kids.

If your son is a rich spoiled prick, and makes friends with the shoe shine boy thinking he's rich too because "man that uniform looks spiffy".  Well, the jig is gonna be up eventually and then its back to a place I like to call reality.

You are an idiot.  Immediately report to me so that I may club you over the head with my wiffle ball bat.

DRESS CODE – OK, that might work.  UNIFORMS – stupid *unless you are at a military academy….or, uh….school uniform making academy or something.

Dress codes allow you to formulate a reasonable set of limits.  Baggy pants, colored bandanas or whatever gang kids wear now.  Maybe they use those cool little rubber wristbands everyone has now.

Uniforms stifle a sense of individuality.  They promote conformity.  They tell you "be like everyone else"

 

 

Besides, White shirts? WHITE??? For teenage kids?  No teacher wants to stare at stains from corn dog mustard or those crazy rectangle pizza (Hey VRBA,  Doesn't that pizza look exactly like the FRIDAY PIZZA at HAUSER ?) like things they have every Friday or some giant jungle juice stain.

 

Can't they make it a brown shirt?

Let's look at the big picture here Mr. School Uniform Rule Guy!
