Mary's still asleep, but will soon be up after I poke, prod and tease her out of bed. All is quiet upstairs except for the little black poodle mournfully moaning the fact that her family has just left. It's pitiful. She quiets down after a couple of minutes, probably sulking and trying to devise a way to get back at them for leaving her alone.

Today we're picking Bill up at lunch time to go meet with the realtor about signing the lease on the townhome. We were happy to hear she would be putting up blinds throughout the place. We weren't looking forward to buying them, especially since we are seriously pinching pennies to get this move done.

Mary was busy packing boxes yesterday. She's excited about moving. She'll be able to go ride her bike again in that neighborhood and the prospect of making some friends there is something she's looking forward to.

We haven't heard from her friends parents in Florida, yet, about Chrissy coming for a visit. Mary hasn't mentioned it again, but I know it's still there bothering her.
