I found this really cool questionnaire here at cafemom and thought it was a great way to get to know one's friends and even one's self better. Please copy and paste and answer this survey, so I can enjoy too. I would love to get to know you better too !
1. Do you like blue cheese ?
I do like blue cheese dressing on a salad, but not all the time. I have to be in the mood.
2. Your favorite song ?
Almost anything by Jethro Tull or Elvis Costello.
3. Do you own a gun ?
Nope and don't want one either.
4. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments ?
Always. lol It depends what kind of doctor and what for regarding how nervous I get. Like try the Dentist or GYN for example.
5. What do you think of hotdogs ?
Only like "veggie" dogs. The real ones are made of animal bi products ...................so disgusting................ you wouldn't want to even know..........ewwww.
6. What do you prefer to drink in the morning ?
Orange juice
7. Can you do push-ups ?
No and that's fine by me.
8. What type of movies do you prefer ?
Ones with historical content, romances, and comedies
9. What's your favorite piece of jewelry ?
Beautiful necklaces, earings and bracelets from Israel.
10. Favorite hobbies ?
Arts and crafts, painting, sketching, pottery, scrapbooking, building and decorating miniature buildings and doll houses, coming to cafemom, playing computer games.
11. Secret weapon to get to the opposite sex ?
My big green/blue eyes and witty charm.
12. Do you have A.D.D. ?
Not sure..........hope not. lol
13. What's one trait you hate about yourself ?
I rather like myself, but if I had to think of something it might be that I have rather thin skin sometimes. I am a very sensitive person, especially when it comes to people I love like my son.
14. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment ?
Thinking of being by the ocean. Enjoying my wonderful fur babies (2 kitties and 2 greyhounds) who are all by my side. Wondering when my honey will be back from the car place.
15. Name 3 things you bought in the last few days ?
Little gifts from my trip to Texas (just got back) for friends and family.
16. Name 3 drinks you regularly drink ?
orange juice without pulp, unsweetened ice tea, and lots of cold spring water with ice cubes.
17. Name your all time favorite drinks ?
milkshakes (but too fattening unfortunately.......boo hoo), hot chocolate (same as above), strawberry smoothies and daiquiris (same as above), mudslides (same as above), bloody marys and sake.
18. Current worry right now ?
Will I need to run my AC too much this summer and how much is it going to cost me ? Playing catch up with annual doctors visits.
19. Current hate right now ?
Extremists who make our world unsafe and promote hate.
20. Favorite place to be ?
Anywhere near a large body of water, such as the sea, a river or a lake. Water totally relaxes and soothes me. I almost forgot.......splashing around in a pool.
21. How did you bring in the New Year ?
With my sweetheart, his dd and my ds. I made us a delicious dinner that night. We watched movies at home, popped popcorn, played board games and watched the ball drop from Times Square on the TV.
22. Where would you like to go ?
Somewhere near a beautiful lake, river or the sea. I can't wait to go to Lake Tahoe in a few more weeks !

4, because that's how many fur babies I have.
24. Favorite TV show ?
Moonlight (but it was canceled.....boo hoo) and Ghost Hunters.
25. Do you like sleeping on satin sheets ?
Yep, but they are sort of slippery...........lol I prefer cool, soft ,cotton sheets.

Sure do...........just like a tea kettle.

All shades of purple...............has been for a very long time and I recken still will be years to come.
28. Would you be a pirate ?
Sure would be fun. I love the sea and being on tall ships. So I guess I would have enjoyed that, minus the looting and violence.

usually the last songs I was listening to before I hop into the shower. Good old classic rock and roll.

Hmmmm............not sure. April is a very pretty name.

A bit of lint and maybe a couple of pennies.

34. Best childhood memory ?
Sharing good times with my friends. Going to Rehobeth Beach with my family to vacation with another family we were very close with when I was eleven. Going to resorts in the Catskill Mountains and Atlantic City with my parents. Going to Hershey Park and Great Adventure amusement parks. Swimming in my next door neighbor's pool. Taking my dog Beauty out for walks. Playing with my hamsters. Riding my bike everywhere.
35. Do you love where you live ?
It's okay, but will like where I'm going to move a few years down the pike much more.
36. Who is your loudest friend ?
Hmmmmm.......... ??? I think it would have to be Kyra from Boston. She has a heavy Boston dialect too. Hope she's not reading this..........opppps
37. How many pets do you have and what are they ?
I have 2 retired, racing greyhounds and 2 kitties, who were also rescued.
38. Does someone have a crush on you right now ?
The last person I know of is a cab driver from Galveston who asked me if I was single. I told him I had a boyfriend. He responded that he thought I was real pretty and wished he could have gone out on a date with me. It's always nice to know someone admires you.
39. What is your favorite book ?
Mr. Family. It's a bit of a hokey story, but I loved it. Believe it or not I got it for free with a purchase from a used book store, as a promotion. Who ever said the best things in life are free wasn't kidding !!!!

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate !!!!!

Philadelphia Flyers- ice hockey

Love scary movies!!! Also pretty much anything else that isn't stupid (stupid horror movies are acceptable seeing as most of them are actually stupid!)

My wedding ring, and a beaded necklace that my son made...and not just because he made it...it's actually REALLY cute!

Scrapbooking, taking pictures, playing my son's Xbox games (shhh, don't tell him!) reading, shopping

Nope

I am perpetually late. I hate being late, but can't get the hang of being on time, even if I start getting ready two hours in advance, then leave the house with plenty of time, I still end up being late. It's almost a talent!

It's funny that my Mother in law is always late too.

Played games and watched movies with hubby and the kids then they all crashed at 11 and I tried to wake them before 12, they sat up said Happy New Year, and went to bed!

I'm not sure that I watched anything from the 70s, the 60s yes, and the 80s, but I'm not sure about that other decade!

Playing Barbie with my mom. Collecting ladybugs and selling them to the neighbors. Going to Dillon's Beach with my Girl Scout Troop.

Yes, I'm two hours from the mountains, two hours from the beach, two hours from San Fransisco, and only 8 hours from the Happiest Place on Earth!
