Visiting the ER while on vacation...

HI everyone,

I just got back from a week of visiting my mom and brother in Glendale, CA.

My brother and his wife and their 3 kids from Nebraska came to visit my mom also.

We all had a really great visit. A little crowed in my mom's 2 bedroom apartment. There were 5 adults, 1 teen and 5 kids their ages were 6 months, 2 yrs, 3 yrs, 4 yrs, 9 yrs. So as you can imagine there was a lot of chaos from time to time.

We arrived Saturday night about 6pm tired and wired from are long trip of 13 hour car ride.

Sunday about 9:30 am my son Tyler (2 yrs) was coming out of my moms bedroom into the hallway he tripped and fell into the corner of the door frame and split open the middle of his forehead. There was blood everywhere. And you guest it a trip to the ER for stitches. He had to have 5 stitches. There was alot of crying involved.

I can't believe being so faraway from home we had to have an accident. It's not one of your highlights of your trip but one you will remember for a life time.

Now on the brighter side we had a fun visit with family and friends. We took a trip to chunky cheese and the kids had a ball. We went to visit the merry-go-round and travel town to ride the train. Went to the California ScienCenter. It was nice to get out and about.

But the best part is that Im finally home. You know the saying, there's no place like home... Well that's the truth. One visit back down to California and it make me love Oregon even more.

Love to all that read this.
