  I JUST WANTED TO ASK YA'LLS VIEW ON THIS BECAUSE I GAVE MY DAUGHTER UP WHEN I WAS 17, AND HERE JUST A MONTH OR SO AGO WE FINALLY FOUND EACH OTHER!! IT WAS THE 3RD BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!! SHE LIVES IN FLORIDA, AND SHE WANTS TO COME MEET ME AND HER BROTHERS!! SHE'S ON MYSPACE, AND I SEEN HER PICTURE AND SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!! I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED AND HOPED THAT THIS DAY WOULD COME NOW ITS HERE AND IM NERVOUS AS HELL!! EXCUSE ME, BUT I REALLY AM!! PLEASE GIVE ME SOME OPINIONS!!

Congratulations on your reunion. "Nervous as hell" doesn't even begin to describe the emotional roller coaster that being reunited with your child is like. When I first reunited with my son two years ago I was completely lost. Since then I've received counseling from one of the countries most respected adoption therapists and joined a chapter of the national adoption triad support groups, CUB. I didn't vote on your poll because I think it implies that the only chance little babies have is to be given away. I would vote for babies being raised in their natural families with all the extended families helping out.
