I am so proud of myself. I have lost 15 pounds since I left my STBX. I feel good! I've been going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I've been eating pretty healthy with salads almost daily, fruits, and foods low in cholesterol. Ice cream is still the biggest thing to resist. When I am out and about, I have a hard time trying to find something healthy to snack on. I even had put a peach in my bag a day or two ago and I just found it today! Ewww!! It wasn't too bad, though. Anyway, I paid for a personal trainer for the month of July. We start on this Wed. This way, I will learn target exercises for the areas that I am most concerned about. Today I went to my first step class. It was really high energy and I hung in there for about the first 30 minutes. After that it was hard for me to keep up, but I just kept on moving! Then I stayed for the Abs class which I really like. The guy who will be my trainer does that class. He helps me a lot and keeps tabs on me. My goal is to lose 20 more pounds by the end of the summer, which may be a lot. I would like to have lost 60 by the end of 2008. I have to go back to get my cholesterol checked in 4 months so I want to get a good report then. I hope that school does not make me loose my momentum. I really need and want to do this. I don't like how I look in pictures and I want to be smaller. God willing, I will be!
