That's right.  I even killed a cactus once.  I have tried and tried but I truly have a black thumb.  My husband and kids call me the grim reaper of plant life.  But that hasn't kept me from trying.

I am determined to have an herb garden.  My kids bought me a Chia Herb Garden for Christmas.  Yep.  I killed them too.  So for my birthday they got me an Aerogarden.  That actually worked. But really it wasn't much effort.  The light, water and nutrients are all provided and alerts you when more is required.  Now the herbs have taken over my kitchen.  I have to replant them but I'm sure it will spell their inevitable doom.

 Wish me luck!!!

Momma...
Jul. 1, 2008 at 5:45 PM We once visited a conservatory and as we went through I pointed at all of the different plants saying "yep, I have killed one like that too'!"  ...everyone laughed.  Except me!  I called myself black thumb.  Then my brother told me that some people have chemicals in their bodies that kill plants if you touch the leaves.  I have not killed a plant since.  try it...!!!    Also a great plant that is "murder proof' is devils ivy...or it is sometimes called variegated ivy.  This stuff is tuff.  A green house owner told me that he had a plant get run over in the road and still survive!!  Now that is some hardy plant.
