Here it is, 9:30 p.m., and I just realized I hadn't posted this week's update.  LOL

Sunday's weigh-in....... 199 again.  Must not have been water weight last week, huh?  So I'm up five pounds since my birthday a month ago.  Definitely time to look at my eating habits again, and move more often.

I got a start on that last night though.  I was at Meijer a few days ago, and while waiting in the checkout line rolling my eyes at all the trash magazines, I noticed Women's Health Magazine for the first time.  The cover model was actually *fit* rather than a bag of antlers!  I looked around the cover for a website, and finally checked it out last night.  I probably spent a good hour just browsing through the articles, and maganed to grab 40 new recipes (looked tasty, and are healthy enough for me [who needs to watch the carb intake]) and three different workout options.  Two I had to print without saving, the other I was able to save *and* download for my Ipod!  I thought it was great to mix-and-match at will for myself, and all told, I have a good strength regimen (about 15 minutes) and a fun new aerobic routine (20 minutes).  I also reorganized all my documents and folders on the MacBook today, so everything is where it's supposed to be and I can actually FIND IT.  :D  I spent today getting myself back on-schedule (where I've let the house slide a little more than usual....) since we're visiting Mom's for a week starting the 13th.  Tomorrow in between loads of laundry I'll be checking out which papers I want to print and stick in my planner so that I actually DO those things rather than just write it down for "when I get around to it".  I also found my weekly and monthly "fitlogs" where I can write down how long I exercise, what I did, how much water intake, pulse, etc. so I can keep an eye on it all.

I swear, one of these days before DH's birthday (Oct), I'll make my first goal and get that tattoo!!

I just cut the yard this evening, then DS and I played a little frisbee (RIP George Carlin, I hope you're not just 'stuck' on a roof!), so I do have some energy left for the strength regimen tonight.  All I have to do is put the girl in a bath while I work out, then it's the boy's turn, and I'll get a shower after the news.  Unless I decide to take a morning walk, then there would be no real point to showering tonight, right?

Oh, I also finally started drinking water with meals!  I had an empty V8 bottle (46 oz?) so I've been filling that with water in the morning and drink it all day long.  If I don't have water with food, I have a cup of Mint Green tea - with no sweetener whatsoever, a huge leap for me.  I'm actually looking forward to having a cup later  :-)

I still need to measure my waist.... well, I'll do that tonight when I get ready for a shower.  But I will post it with next week's journal!  Until then,

"a bag of antlers"....whoo that one got me giggleing out loud!  I have been horrible this past week!  I was "broken" {our word for "that time of the month"} so I reeeeeally didn't feel like walking...so I didn't.   I did today, though.  I'm feeling much more into it again than I have the past few days.  We'll get there by Oct!!!
