I have to ask the question: What's with my kid putting EVERYTHING up his nose? It seems like everything he finds goes up there. If it's too big, he tries to shove it up there anyway! Just this morning I found a small nut (as in nuts and bolts) shoved up there. I have no idea where he finds this stuff. I keep the house picked up but it never fails...something always manages to find it's way up the nostril. He's the youngest of three at the ripe age of 21 months and the ONLY one who has had such a fascination with his nose.

Maybe it's just my selective memory but, I think he's meaner than the other two. Maybe that's cause he's got an older brother and sister & there's a bigger age gap than with the first two. Still he can get downright mean! Big brother will be watching TV, playing a video game, reading a book, or working on school work when out of the blue the little devil (I say with a mother's love) will jump on his back, pull hair, pinch and throw things at him...laughing the whole time. He laughs that same laugh after he's shoved something up his little nose. It's like "Ha Ha Ha see what I just did!" He's all over the place lately. He gets into all the drawers and anything that's within reach. He's smart too. I use to put things he wasn't suppose to touch (glass figurines, potted plants, etc) on higher ground. He's already figured out how to moved chairs or climb on furniture to get to it. Alas, there's no more sacred spots for my plants! He's a great kid, it's just the terrible two's I guess hitting a little early. I'll just be glad when he's gotten a more developed vocabulary and we can redirect his energies. I just don't remember the terrible two's being so terrible! WHEW!

 The terrible two monster! LOL
