The RA Hasn't Affected My Feelings

Ever since I told my co-workers that I have RA & Fibromyalgia & have been asking for help on my bad days, 3 of them have treated me like I'm different--like I'm no longer "one of the crew".  It hurts.

My boss gave me tonight off as  my regular night off & our bakery is closed on Friday (which for me is Thursday night) & when one of my co-workers asked me if I have tonight off and I told her "Yes", she gave me a look that could have killed.  On her way out I told her to have a good 4th of July & I got a glare and the silent treatment.

Granted, they may not know what to say.  I don't want them to say things like "Poor Kim".  I still have feelings--that hasn't changed.  All I want is for them to treat me the same way that they did before I was diagnosed.

I don't think that's too much to ask.

No, it's not too much to ask. Unfortunately, people can be really rude and sometimes downright mean. I hope they grow up and get over it soon!
