Baby Play Time Ideas?

William is almost 6 months old and getting very active. I would like him to have a group of friends to play with on a (pretty) consistant basis. I think the musical baby classes would be awesome, however...we have no extra money to put out to do that.
My question is does anyone know of any FREE baby hang out groups near Marietta, GA? I am thinking I might have to start one...but ya know...going to one is always easier. All advice welcome.
