You should know that as an Aries I tend to start projects and never finish them... often times it's because I start 3 or 4 new projects at a time and I get overwhelmed. I'm a great planner... just not a great doer. For example in the last week I decided that I was going to
1. Attend the Institute for Children's Literature
2. Attend Pheonix Online for a BA in Accounting
3. Become an Ameriplan (Pretend there's a little R in a circle there) Independent Business Owner
4. Start an exercise regimine
5. Tailor some dresses for my tall and lanky 4 year old
6. Continue to work my two jobs and take care of my two kids and partner
Woah, slow down Nelly!!! LOL So I'm putting off the Pheonix Online, Tailoring the dresses (they're about a week away from being too short for her anyways) And as soon as I get into profit mode as an IBO quit my during-the-week job at an antiques shop. I do intend to attend the Institute for Children's Literature though because it's a laid back program and I can get extensions on my work for up to an extra year if I need it. You can't rush the creative process after all. The excersize isn't exactly going on hold, but I'm not going at it full force right now either. I'm focusing more on fixing my eating habits first (which takes a lot less effort than exercising) I'm an emotional eater and I eat when I'm bored... so the key is just to stay out of the kitchen!
So anyways, I'm glad I caught myself before I went totally nuts! I do intend to go back to school online in the Spring though... besides my Business school will be a priority in the Spring.
The kids are doing great. Hunter is starting to coo and grab hold of things which tickles Jaylynn to know end. She'll literally just dangle her head over his chest area until he grabs hold of her hair. Then she screams "Mommy he's playing with me!" It's really pretty funny.
On the not so funny side: Hunter was in his crib (we keep the rail in the down position right now) and he started crying. So after giving him a minute to fuss I headed towards his room and he suddenly stops crying. I enter the room to see Jaylynn holding the pacifier in his mouth. Luckily this was an instance he actually wanted the pacifier. What if he was choking or spitting up and she was just shoving that thing in his mouth. Scared me to death. I don't want to make her feel like she's not as important as him (she's not my biological daughter so jealousy has been a bit of an issue) but I can't let her get away with doing things like that. Next thing you know she'll decide she can pick him up and I'll have to take him to the hospital when she drops him! Oye!
