Many of you have asked what exactly is the carseat test that Luke keeps failing.
Babies that are born premature have problems holding their heads up when sitting. This causes them to have problems breathing. Because of this before we are allowed to bring Luke home he has to be able to sit upright in his carseat for an hour without having desats (drops in his oxygen levels) or decels (drops in his heartrate or respiratory rate). Luke cannot do this. He has apnea which is common with preemies. He had been 4 days without an episode until early this morning. Then when they did the caarseat test he had more episodes.
Hope I explained it well enough to everyone!
