So, I was told to call my doctor this morning and have them see me today.  There are two doctors at my family doctor office but Matt and I see Dr. C.  I call this morning to make an appointment and was informed that Dr. C was out of town all week.  The lady made me practically beg to see the other doctor.  I have never seen him before so I was really scared that he would be mean.  I got myself all worked up about it. 

Matt was actually able to come with me and I was kind of shocked about that.  Happy shock though haha.  So, we get there and I get called back to the room.  Hanging in the room is a Wizard of Oz poster..this is a good sign (my favorite movie).

The doctor *Dr. H.* was SO nice!! Not just nice, he was INFORMATIVE and showed genuine concern!!! It was AMAZING.  My other doctor was so aloof!!  I asked Dr. H what I would have to do to see him as my regular doctor instead of Dr. C...so yeah I'm officially switching. I feel like this guy can really help me get my health on track. 

I was told at the ER that I would have to get my packing taken out and have more put back in, then come back and have that done again, and then taken out.  Well, he took the packing out which hurt SOOOOOO much by the way, and after looking at it he said that it's actually healing really well and he doesn't feel that it needed to be packed again.  Let me tell you I was so relieved because having it taken out hurt so much that I don't know if I could go through putting more in and then having that taken out, put back in, then taken out again.  He said that I need to keep a dressing on and keep applying warm compresses but that it is healing nicely.  It still hurts pretty bad but overall things went well. 

He wants me to come back after I get back from vacation so we can get my health back on track.  He wants to do bloodwork and a complete physical and then go from there.  So, I really feel like he's going to help me get my health back..and that is just awesome!
