I've been mostly vegan for a long while now. Every now and then I go completely vegan. I know that "mostly vegan" isn't really vegan at all. But it's how I think about it. Anyway, I really need to go totally vegan. Not vegetarian. Vegan.
Why? Because I'm starting to get really sick from animal products. Milk, cheese, eggs, meat...it's all making me oh so sick. Last night the kids and I went out to eat. I had a meatball hero. I couldn't even finish it. I felt so nauseous about half way through it and we left. About an hour after I got home I had the runs. Bleah.
It happens everytime I eat meat. Well, not so much when I eat chicken or fish. It's more when I eat beef. But even other forms of meat leave me feeling icky. Just now I had some cereal. I usually have oatmeal or fruit but I wanted cereal so I had it. Now I feel sick. I know it's the milk and maybe a little bit of the sugar in the cereal.
My body is becomming oh so sensitive. Anything that has chemicals in it is irritating me. Meat is making me sick. Milk is making me ick. Gawd it kind of reminds me of when I was pregnant. But I just had my period. *sigh*
It could just be that I'm becomming more sensitive. It happens every now and then. But gah! I really need to quit the meat totally. It's so bad for me and now even more unhealthy.
I miss the days of being totally raw. Oh how healthy I was!
