A lot of people talk about how Christians aren't tolerant of other religions. While that's not true of all Christians, it does feel like it's true for the majority. I mean Christians have a pretty bad rap historically speaking for being the most intolerant religion out there.
However, not a lot of people talk about how many non-Christians are intolerant as well. While non-Christians often speak of being tolerant of other religions it's a fact that many are against Christians. They will yell at them for even just talking about their beliefs.
While I feel it's wrong to try and convert someone and try and force your religion on them, it's also just as wrong to condemn someone just for being religious. Christianity isn't the only religion that has followers who are intollerant. Every religion does.
I'm not Christian. I'm Pagan. Pagans have suffered greatly at the hands of intolerance. I guess that's why I really can't stand it when someone is intolerant of someone else. I love talking about my religion just as Christians love talking about theirs. I see no problem in it. I don't want someone quoting scripture at me or trying to convert me. But that doesn't mean they can't talk about their beliefs.
So please, lets have some tolerance here.
