Do any of you watch this show on NBC? It is about teenagers who find out first hand what it is like to be parents from raising a baby to having an "elderly" parent live with them....and toddlers, tweens, and teenagers in between. These teenagers are in this "experiment" for nothing more than the experience. There is no prize money or getting voted off. They can leave at any point during the show, if they choose. The childrens real parents are watching through live video feed from across the street. They can intervene at any point for the safety of the child. There are also professional nannies in each home but they can only intervene for the safety of the child. I think that this show is innovative. I think that anyone with teenagers should have them watch this series. It has opened a few of the previous eager to get pregnant teen girls, that being parents is harder than it looks like and they have actually said that they plan to wait for quite sometime before even entertaining the idea of becoming a parent. If you watch this show I would love to know what you think of it. If you don't ...check it out. I think it is a great educational tv series. I do want to warn you though that some of these teenagers are foul mouthed but it has been bleeped out.
I forgot to mention that they get to be "parents" to each age catergory I mentioned above for a 48 hour period. This is round the clock. They are responsible for everything during that time that we as parents would be responsible for.
