Where do our kids get all of their energy?  I have been so tired lately and the kids are always running around.  They constantly want me to play and all I want to do is rest.  I muster up all the energy I have to play with them for awhile.  They wear me out even more.  All I hear is "Mom play".   I get worn out just watching them play.  Hopefully, with the weather getting nicer, my energy level will rise.

Maybe one day Science will figure out a way to bottle up some of our kids energy and pass it along to us.  Is that to much to ask?  Am I just fantasizing again?  I mean, really, wouldn't it be nice?  We could have the energy to keep up with our kids, get the housework all done,  be happy when our spouse, bf, or significant other comes home, make dinner, clean up again, and after the kids go to sleep (have fun with the DH).

Apr. 5, 2007 at 10:23 AM I just read this post of yours.... It's so true. I caught myself in a horrible moment the other day , my daughter was asking to play with her outside.  I said "not right now"  .  She says "are you tired again?"  Needless to say I stopped what I was doing and FORCED myself outside. I'd blame it on age, but, we're too young for that.
