Orion's been so helpful

I've decided that while Orion is home from school he's going to help me with chores in the morning.  I usually just have him help me straighten up at night.  But lately he's been helping with laundry and dishes and whatnot.  Don't get me wrong...he's playing a lot and enjoying his summer too.  He's spending a lot of time with his friend Nicholas down the block.  He's watching TV, building train layouts, playing with the sprinkler, riding his bike....  We're also going places like to the park and he's gone to the beach with my mom.

 But the point is that he's also helping out.  I love it!  It's hard some days but I tell him that he can't go outside to play until he helps me a little.  He's doing a good job too.  I'm only having him help me for about half an our or so in the morning.  So it's not much. 

I'm just so proud of him.  He's learning to take care of a home which I feel is important for when he grows up.
