Do you think real love can last throughout any distance, or will long distance end most relationships?

Since I am married to a man that started as a long distance relationship I definately believe they can last.  DH and I met online.  We met in person once then had a relationship for 6 months long distance. (I lived in Arkansas he lived in Idaho)  After six months of talking on the phone and chatting online everyday we knew it was meant to be.  I moved to Idaho, we got married 4 months later and have been happily married for almost 6 years.

Jul. 11, 2008 at 11:03 AM I think if it is really ment to be it will last. I have an aunt that has been dating a guy for about five years he lives is south texas and she lives in Mt.Vernon. They swap every other weekend either he comes up here or she goes down there. It seems to be working great. I also hope it can last for me my DH may have to go to Mexico for a while we do not know how long but we have everything planned out and we can make it through.
