Catching Up!

Doug and I have bought our first home!! We are very excited. We should be closing around Aug 10th and are going to schedule a home warming party/bday party on Sept 1st, which is labor day this year!
Our home is located in Morganton, NC, the address is 108 Butler Hollow Dr. It was built in 1929, but the company went bankrupt and never finished it. The seller bought the home and have gutted it out and remodeled it inside and out. Everything is brand new from the floors, light fixtures, plumping, central air, to the electric box outside! Doug and I will be the first family to actually live in it.
An amazing thing, is that our loan is going to allow us to renovate the downstairs half basement into a Laundry room, Bath and Bedroom which we are going to use as a game/play room/guest room). And add some more shelving and a dishwasher and drawer icebox in the Kitchen, all before closing. After Closing they are allowing us to add on Formal Dining Room and Office onto the foundation that is the patio at the moment. We are going to use the Dining Room as a master bedroom for now though. Behind the Master Bed and Office they are going to extend a deck that over looks our creek.
Our land is surrounded in a semi circle by a creek, the gate to a neighbor is in front of the house, and the neighbors veggie garden is across the gate of our Left Yard. (where we plan on building a green house).
Also! I am so excited to announce my new business venture. Peaceblooms, which I am opening at the Jamestown Flea/Farmers Market. It is a Shoppe of Handcrafted Collections by American Moms from all over the US. The Website is up, but still under construction. We also have a Kids Korner, where kids can learn to make different crafts and parents can hold custom crafting birthday parties. www.peaceblooms.org

Congrats on your new home! We found out that the new baby is going to be another little girl which I am excited about. And I only have about 8 weeks to go!
