My day started at 6:30 when I had to get up to drive to Yelm, Wa which is about 1.5 hours away from where I live. My oldest went to his first sleep away camp on Monday and today I got to pick him up. I really missed him and could not wait to see him, he was all like "hey Mom." and told me that it felt like i dropped him off just the day before. He had the best time and did not want to leave. Funny considering that he was stressed and worried about it for weeks and cried when I left him there. kids!

So then we had to rush to Seattle to get to a baseball tournament that his game started at 11:30, but it is almost a 2 hour drive back from Yelm. We were 20 minutes late to his game, but he was able to play in the last 2 inning. then we had about an hour for lunch and then an another game. They finally won a game. these are kids that have only been playing together since May and have only been able to practice after regular season ended in June. This is an all-star team from our local ball club and it cannot interfere with regular season games and practice. Most of the teams we pay have been playing together for 6 months or more.

So do you feel tired yet reading this, because my day is not over?

We then went from the game to Mercer Island where my folks live. they were having their street fair. We love this mostly because tonight they had a big fireworks display on Lake Washington and we like to go do this. Which we did.

Now I got home and have all 3 kids in bed. I have to be back at the ball field by 9 for the elimination rounds. I am washing a very dirty baseball uniform and I am going to take a shower before I can even think of getting into bed.

Isn't it funny all these things we do for our kids and the crazy schedule we live by, and i wouldn't change it for the world.
