My husband lost his job Friday.  A great downsizing due to "slowing of the economy".  Lovely...just freaking lovely!  He was doing so good, not making enough money...but he was working.  We could survive and feed our kids. 

I had to leave my job in June due to problems with my pregnancy.  He got custody of his two girls and they are now living with us full time along with my 6 year old son.  I am completely freaking out over here!!!! School starts in about 3 weeks.  The car note is behind.  We're staying at mom's b/c of an outrageous electric bill that we're paying a week at a time.  Good Lord, how much can we take?  I've been in the papers and online all weekend trying to see who's hiring....which where we live, is not many places.  I could go back to work, but all my income will go to daycare for 3 little ones...and who is really going to hire a big pregnant woman with problems who will have to take off for at least 6 weeks in 4 1/2 months?  I've tried the "work at home" scenario and haven't found anything but scams.  Blah!

He was up at 6am (normal work time), got dressed and headed out to beat the streets and hopefully come home with another job today.  I know I'm whining...and other people have it way worse than we do, I just need some room to breathe!
