Summer Vacation

My kids have only been out of school for a little over a month and already i get to hear MOM I'M BORED. So i try and find things to do with them but beings i don't drive we're all kinda stuck at home. And you can only color so many pictures in a day or put so many puzzles together or go out and play for so long before they say i'm hot. We have a pool the kind with the blue ring that you have to blow up first then fill it with water. And they go in that when it's not  all funky looking, we have hard water and that i think has alot to do with the way it looks. My mom who lives only 15 mins away comes over on her day off she only gets one and takes the kids out and does stuff with them. I'm writting this to see if anybody out there can give me some ideas on other fun things to do so they don't drive me nuts lol. They are 5,7,9,11 so they dont all always like playing together but sometimes they do. I think it's going to be a long summer vacation!!!!

Hey just learned this neat trick for evening time, see if you can borrower a friends hook it up to a portable dvd player and hang a sheet in the back yard.  Lay out a blanket and pop some popcorn and have a back yard movie night.  My kids are 3,7,11 and the loved it. As for day time activities I agree it is hard to get the to agree on what to do, I make 3-4 kinds of pudding and cover the table in drawing paper and let them finger paint.  It is the one time they can play with food and the love it, we also have made play-doh together, that they help mix and pick colors for.  Hope at least somethings helps.
