Baby Christian Update - Jul. 14

Baby Christian's surgery has been scheduled for 7:30 am tomorrow (Tuesday, Jul. 15).  He will be one week old by then.  Wow time flies. 

The report today comes from a visit with Christian's maternal grandma this morning.  She said he has been nursing ever since his procedure last Thursday that is helping him breath better.  She also said that Christian and his two older brothers got a chance to meet and spend a little time together yesterday.  That is a huge relief for the whole family because the boys (as you can imagine) have been anxious to see him and want baby brother, Mom and Dad all back home. 

Now that we have a surgery time, we can all be sending up prayers, blessings, and good thoughts for the family, the surgeons, and the baby all morning tomorrow. 

NOTE:  We are Mountain Standard Time here . . . so that is 7:30 am MST. 

Thank you ALL for your support and continued prayers for our friends! 

One more thing, I am baking up a spaghetti casserole to have taken over to them tonight so they can eat homemade food the night before the surgery.  If anyone has tips or ideas about how to package that to make it convenient at the hostpital, your suggestions are WELCOME!

I am sure the Big Brothers gave him the strength he'll need for his surgery.  How sad for the parents to have to give him up sooo quickly to a team of docs and nurses  I hope and pray everything goes well and they will have him home soon.  You are a wonderful friend for thinking of them in this way. I will be looking for another update soon .
