I have heard many doctors say - when they are hungry they will eat.

Have you asked him what he wants?  Even if it is crap that you won't normally let him.

My son goes through these stages where he just doesn't want to eat anything I fee him. It's frustrating cause I worry about him and I'm wasting food. The first thing is don't feel like crap, you're trying to feed him, short of cramming it down his throat what more could you do. Secondly, he will eat what he wants when he is ready. When my 2 yr old Shawn gets this way, I resign myself to stop preparing him several meals, I make him breakfast lunch and dinner, if he doesn't eat then I offer him little snacks and I pretty much let him eat any of the snacks I buy for him so long as he's eating. I recommend doing something like this put a few boxes of the snacks he likes in his reach, he'll get what he wants when he wants to eat. If this keeps up I'd ask your doctor.

I agree they won't strave look at my kids they are teens now and is 6 feet and eats like a horse.....The other thing he is drinking a lot of juice?They tend to fill up on that.

My youngest went thru that also for about a week.  I used the NIDO stuff too.  Finally he got hungry and went back to eating,lol. I also did the same stuff you are doing, maybe it is just a phase... IDK if that will help or not ,just thought I'd let you know that you aren't the only one who has had this happen,lol.   Good Luck!!!!

both of mine went through that. my 3 yr old one day will eat me out of house and home one day and then the next he might take him all day to eat his waffles from breakfast.

 Thank you. he gets plenty to drink, things like juice, milk and water. i cut down the drinks about an hour before i try to feed him, then an hour after i give up feeding him i give him more to drink. he has no problem drinking, just dose not want the food i give him. he'll bring me cookies (teddy grams), and fruit snacks but thats it. i dont give them to him til abot an hour after i try feeding him each time. i guess its just a phase.

i keep all the non messy foods in his reach. he used to bing me food when he wanted to eat. now he grabs fruit snack >.<

Thats good he is getting liquids...........have you tried telling him things like...Barney eats things like this....or so and so loves these! YOU try some!

My son won't eat if someone has a treat in the house he will want what they have, so with my roommate her kids know now if they eat their dinner before the little ones in the house, NO treats till after dinner.

I see where you have stuff within his reach......my son had a phase a bit like that, but would eat something.

Maybe try the ... so and so eats these, you eat some and I'll take your picture and we can show him..........hopefully your little guy will EAT something and soon!

Maraya did that but it was teething not sure what to tell ya maybe he is trying to get sick? Are you still breastfeeding him??

Why would he try to make him self sick, he's not even 2 yet? lol. no not BF anymore. stopped that once he turned one.
