Ten Things I Am NOT

If you were to ask me just who I am right now, I honestly could NOT tell you. Isn't that terrible? To be 37 years old and not really have it figured out yet?

But I do know who I am NOT:

1. I am NOT someone who gossips. (talking pleasantly about someone's new baby or vacation is conversation. Repeating something ugly about someone is gossip.)

2. I am NOT a one-upper. (If I buy something nice, it is because I wanted it. Not because someone else had it and I had to top them.)

3. I am NOT a liar.

4. I am NOT high-maintenance. (My wedding ring came from Wal-Mart. I can go to Wal-Mart without my makeup, I drive an economy car, and our house is old and small. My clothes come from Wal-Mart or Bealls. I LOVE garage sales.)

5. I am NOT perfect, nor do I pretend that I am. (I can admit when I am wrong. I have had to eat humble pie far more than I would have liked.)

6. I am NOT a picky eater.

7. I am NOT as smart as I used to think I was. (sigh.......)

8. I am NOT "cool" or "special". I'm just me, whoever that is.

9. I am NOT short and to the point. (If you have read any of my posts, you know that already. LOL)   

10. I am NOT a confident person. (Which is probably my #1 problem.)
