I haven't had a period since early May, I've taken three pregnancy tests all negative, so I'm sure I'm not pregnant. The only change in my life is that I recently lost 20 pounds, and I work out at the gym very hard every day. Anybody have any ideas whats up?

Jul. 15, 2008 at 4:11 PM When you lose a lot of weight it can mess with your body so your period stops. It's kinda like when you get so skinny that your period stops only it's because your body is like anticipating the weight loss or something. You might want to see a doctor about that. Are you underweight? That might be it.

Jul. 15, 2008 at 4:12 PM I wish I could say. I have had 2 periods since december! I know mine is off from a miscarriage, and yours could be off from the weight loss combined with intense workouts. Your body could just be adjusting.
