So due to the lack of a double stroller, I am stuck at home with two kids. Which wouldnt be that bad....but Connor gets bored with things fast, so trying to keep him entertained is turning out to be the biggest challenge. Im starting to get cabin fever. For those who are thinking Connor is old enough to walk.....this is very true....but my son has a condition with his legs......the full fledged running condition lol!! He runs as soon as his feet hit the ground, so me trying to chase after him with an infant in tow wouldnt be fun for me! Im trying to think of things I can do with him....but even like going to the park wont work due to it being way too hot for the baby. Guess Ill figure things out eventually, but for now its sucks!

do ya have some macaroni or dry beans and  a couple of paper plates?? How about an empty coffee can with a lid?? a kleenex box (empty) an empty towel roll? Make a band.. with beans and  sturdy paper plares (if it is the real thin ones double them up) put beans or macaroniin the plate, fold in half for little hands and staple the edges together really well. voila his own maraca, an empty coffee can with a lid become a drum. cut a hole in an end of the kleenex box put the empty toilet paper or towel  tube in it, string  big rubber bands over it and viola a homemade guitar.. hope these help

kriss...

What kind of stroller do you have?  Do you have a little umbrella stroller that Connon can ride in...and a Snugli (or some other carrier) you could use for Jackson?

They also have those little leash systems.   Some, people frown upon them, but they can be GREAT when dealing with kids that like to run, etc.  Then, if you have the stroller for Jackson, you could use the leash for Connor.  I believe most of them also have ways to control the length of leash available so you can control how close Connor stays to your side, etc....

Hope this helps!!!
