To get your body and mind ready it is key to develop the training mindset of an athlete. There is so much going on and a body that is clogged, tired and exhausted will only yield a mind that is not in a place to receive. Lace up those running shoes and get out some cleanse and let's get ready to be lean, focused and energized.
Exercise
Isagenix is a great program however it is ideal to combine it with exercise. Exercise helps to eliminate toxins, release body fat, boost mental focus, increase stamina, libido and much more. Ideally 40 minutes/day is required to release body fat. Cardiovascular exercise such as power walking, running, swimming, dancing, cycling, hiking and group exercise classes are best done in the morning when the body is most alert. When you do cardio on an empty stomach with an accelerator you are in fat burning mode.
To get the most out of any exercise program it is imperative that you do resistance training such as Pilates, free weights, machines, power yoga, and body weight resistance exercises such as push-ups to build muscle, increase metabolism, tone, shape and slow down aging. After the age of 25 we lose ¼ to ½ pound of muscle every year if we do not keep up with weights.
Cleanse: To achieve maximum results I recommend doing a 9 day cleanse, to fully benefit your body. The benefit of a 9 day cleanse is that the results are more visible, you are cleansing much more than if you do one day per week and it will help to lean you out.
On your cleanse day - if you are hungry - foods such as organic cucumbers are great. IsaDelight also makes your cleanse much easier. Do not consume coffee, tea, soda, diet products, animal proteins such as cheese, eggs or meat if you want to truly cleanse.
Cut out the Garbage food: Forget junk foods, certain foods have very little benefit to your body and are actually causing inflammation and weight gain. To truly lean out cut out all artificial sweeteners, wheat & whole wheat products, anything enriched or processed, & alcohol. Remember the Isalean Shakes & Bars are great Whole Food sources & snacks!! The Isadelight Chocolates are great for your 'junk food' cravings! When you do this your body will thank you by releasing unwanted pounds and inches.
Eat every 2.5 to 3 Hours: Your body requires small meals at regular intervals to lean out. On shake days have a hard boiled egg, can of wild tuna or salmon, small salad with chic peas or lentils or raw tofu (note there is not enough phytoestrogen in raw organic tofu to raise blood estrogen levels - it is more likely the high sugar content of soy milk that causes allergies & weight gain). For dinner cut out the starch and you will wake up lean and ready to go. Most Athletes only eat starch at night if they are doing a hard run the next morning.
Water, Water and more Water: You will not release body fat if you do not drink a minimum of 3 liters of water every day. For those of us who talk on the phone we require more. Remember your breath releases perspiration. Get your water if you want to lose those love handles.
Sleep: You will not release body fat without a minimum of 7 hours of solid sleep. When you sleep your body produces growth hormone that releases body fat. Get those Z's.
Journal: Many people think that they are eating very healthy however when they journal they realize that they are actually over eating. Be accountable to everything you put in your mouth! Read ingredients & research what they are if you do not know. Input=Output!! Knowledge=Control/Power!! The IsabodyJournal fromwww.isasalestools.com is great for this.
CALORIES: If you have achieved your 'ideal body weight' you should multiply your body weight X 12 to figure our how many calories you should consume each day. For those that are overweight - Multiply X 10.
