I need some advice

I never thought I would say this, but I have met someone that I like very much.  I am not ready yet to introduce my kids to him, but how do I tell my kids about him? How do I tell them that I am dating someone?  My kids are 5 and 8.  Advice please from woman who have been in this situation.

Jul. 16, 2008 at 6:53 PM Just introduce him as "Mommy's friend, Joe Blow"  We're going to dinner tonight and you get to stay with grammy or whoever. Don't make a big deal out of it.

Jul. 16, 2008 at 7:02 PM He lives in another state.  I am not ready to intrdocude him, but do I tell the kids about him or wait until they ask questions about who I am talking to.  Also, do I tell their dad so that he can answer any questions that they may have for him?
