Flushed swimsuit and bird poop... oh my!!!

The past week or so, the funniest things have been happening. You just couldn't make this stuff up!!!

Last week, the girls and I were at the local swimming pool. We have a pass for the whole summer, so we try to go often. Well, I am in the middle of trying to potty-train Kira. She kept on saying "potty" so I took her into the bathroom. I pulled down the diaper, and her swimming suit was around her ankles. She didn't go, but she wanted up. So before I pulled her up, the toliet started flushing. It was one of those automatic flushers. It scared Kira, so she started kicking her legs really hard. Next thing I know, her swimsuit is gone. It had went down the toliet! So I'm standing there with a totally naked baby, and waiting to see if the swimsuit will come back up. Well, it didn't. So I had to use my shirt to cover Kira's bottom, and I ran to find Natalie. We hurried home. Warren so didn't believe me when I told him the story. It does sound pretty crazy! 

Also, last night, we were all at the swimming pool. Kira didn't want to get into the water. So, Warren and I were sitting in some chairs underneath this awning. I am holding a Dr. Pepper, and talking to Warren. All of a sudden, I feel a "plop" in my can, and something warm on my leg. A seagull had flew over, and somehow the poop got in my soda and on my leg! How that happened, I really don't know. Its crazy I tell ya! Next time, I will try to be in the middle of the awning. No more bird poop for me ( I hope!).

Jul. 17, 2008 at 4:37 PM ewwwwwwww!!!! bird poop.  That is hilarous about the swimsuit Lizzy always says those toilets will flush her butt and freaks out LOL. there has been time where she refused to go potty becuase her butt would be flushed LOL gotta love em

That would be my luck too...Shelby hates those toliets too...scary her crazy and she plugs her ears really hard and closes her eyes....kind of like the Wizard of Oz...there's no place like home I guess lol

WOW!! and who would of thought...I'm surprised the toilet didn't back up but then those are pretty powerful.  My daughter HATES the noises that flushing makes and has to cover her ears.  The poop in the can...that's something that would happen to me too and the odds of that are 1 in a million? Give new meaning to "wrong place at the wrong time".
