So I told my family about our baby today.  My dad was so excited which I was happy about.  However, I couldn't get ahold of my mother and my sister asked if it was planned and acted a little like we shouldn't be happy.  Why would you ask if it is planned.  Would that make a difference now?  It was planned and we are excited but honestly, just congratulate your family don't accuse them of being irresponsible.  I guess that's how it feels anyway.  I wish it would have gone differently.  Now I am just a little bummed.  Oh well, not everything can be like it is in the movies : )

Jul. 18, 2008 at 10:25 PM My mom, especially, was never happy for me... not a single time. She was great when my DD was 4 mths and I called her in tears cuz I had just found out I was pregnant again, though.  We won't expect her to be happy this time around... we don't care. My sisters are all excited that we're TTC.
