I cook. I watch old movies or read. I take the kids for a walk or visit our neighbor and her grandchildren. I love to make cookies with my grandkids or make a good dinner for my husband. -- something that cooks all day and smells great, like beef stew or bean soup and ham or maybe homemade pizza or bread.
I love to fill up a kiddie pool and sit with my friends in lawn chairs while the kids spash around. I need to do more crafts with the kids, too. My daughter lives nearby and her apartment has a lake and a beautiful pool. She also has a lot of cable channels. We can always find something to do. Come to think of it, these are the same things I like to do when I'm not broke. If I have a little money to spend, I like to drive to the park, drive to the beach, go to the free concerts on Friday night. I can take the kids to the zoo (zoo passes) but I have to have a little money for ice cream and the carousel.
I'm a lucky woman! I have all I need.
