I spent the day in the ER. I had some bleeding and the nurse on call at my dr office said I could go to the ER today or wait and try to get into the dr office tomorrow. So I went today. They tried to find the heartbeat with a doppler and couldn't find anything. They did a pelvic exam and the dr said that everything looked okay. The cervix was still closed and there was only a small amount of pink mucus. They did a urine sample and blood work to check my hormone levels. They sent me up to have an ultrasound. The tech wasn't very helpful with the questions I asked cuz they aren't allowed to give out much info. When the dr came back to give us the results, he said that the blood levels were low for how far along I am. He said that the person that read my ultrasound said that the measurements looked more like 9 weeks instead of the 11 weeks that I should be at. The scariest part is when he said that the person reading my ultrasound couldn't find any heart movement. I haven't had any cramping or anything like that, so they are still kinda hopeful. They told me that I'm on bedrest until I can follow up with my dr tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to get in. I'm hoping that my due date was just wrong and that everything is okay with the baby.
