Five Words I Really Like...

Alskling ~ it means Darling in Swedish, and is the name my DH always calls me.

Momma ~ the name my deceased son always called me.  I like mommy, too, because my other 4 children call me that, but when I hear a child call his mother MOMMA my heart just shatters and regroups.  I want so much to tell that mother how very much that name means, how very lucky she is, but I only smile and hope the tears in my eyes speak my thoughts.

Puss Pa Dej ~ means "Kiss on you" and is spoken when my DH is teasing or irritating me, usually to get me to lighten up and smile again.  

Du och jag ~ "You and I" which were our very simple wedding vows...and I hear them often, usually in the quiet of the night while I am laying with my head on his shoulder and his arms are around me, and I am feeling secure and loved.

And my least liked words, one might ask?  No.  Don't want to.  Spoken incessantly by my 2.5 yr old!  LOL  He has learned to say it in 3 different languages, so he irritates me in all of them!  Gotta love this stage, though.
