Okay, my mom told me I had to burry my daughters umbilical cord? Some old wives tale... and then there was another one that if your baby doesn't fall off the bed by their first birthday they'll die? Kind of out there... so just wondering.

well....I have no idea what happened to my daughters umbilical cord...and luckily (or un-luckily lol) my daughter HAS fallen off the bed, so we're safe there. LoL

Isn't it supposed to be a good thing if your kid doesn't fall off the bed for a year straight?? lol...well I guess I'm okay then b/c my daughter fell off the bed when she was 6-7 months. I've always felt bad about it but now I guess I should look at it as a good thing? lol and why bury the umbilical cord? whats the significance of that?? because I didn't bury my daughter's but I still have a tiny piece of it.
