That way I could know for sure if her truly was a prophit or just a cunning and creative writter. As for those that are alive, It's a tough call between Angelia Jolie (I admire her for all she has done for children in 3rd word counties) and Ricki Lake (Finally, getting the world out about homebirthing, and the truth about hospital maturnity care) .

20. If you could ask me one question, what would you ask? what's the best part of your life?
1. Favorite Pet? my cat Spider, he was so nutty. he would hump everything in sight, and once climbed into a grocery bag and didn't come out until he had eaten a whole turkey, bones and all.
2. Any tattoos? If so, Do they have meaning? an Eye of Horus on my right shoulder (so yes it's backwards, that's on purpose) because I'm Kemetic in theory... a cobra wrapped around my left wrist, to go with the egyptian theme and b/c I've always wanted one there. I'm gonna get my name written in a cartouche on my right arm, a sleeve made of snakes on the left, and a phoenix on my thigh for my little girl, and a raven to represent my miscarried baby. my husband and I might get strange attractors on our chests, if we can find someone to do it so it looks good. this list goes on and on.
3. Sign of the Zodiac? capricorn.
4. Best book you ever read? "White Oleander" by Janet Fitch. I read it every few months.
5. What do you absolutely HAVE to do before you die? perform onstage again.
6. Favorite childhood memory? my mom reading to me from an antique copy of the original Grimm brothers and Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales every night. those stories are creepy, it probably explains a lot about how I ended up :)
7. What are your kids' names? Why'd you name them that? Phoenix Stormraven.... Phoenix is for the mythological creature, because the number one wish for my children is for them to be strong through anything and keep going no matter what, for the comic book character (considered to be the most powerful), and for the name my husband did his music under originally. "Stormraven" is because that is the name i always wanted for a girl, after the comic book characters Storm and Raven, and because the raven is the protector animal for any children I have or will have.
8. What did you really want to be when you grew up? What do you want for a career now? artist, fashion designer, teacher, nurse, musician/singer. I still want to go back to teaching and become an occupational therapist, and also still want to go back into music. all of those still fit in my plans in one way or another.
9. If you could move to another country and start all over again, where would you go? Switzerland. it's neutral, has laws more in keeping with my beliefs, a higher standard of living, and it neighbors Germany so I can go over there sometimes for the awesome music scene :)
10. You can go back in time and have dinner with a famous person. Who will it be? Kurt Vonnegut or Mitch Hedberg (it wouldn't have to be too far back in time, obviously.)
11. Something strange that happened to you? my ex-boyfriend and current best friend was born in the house one of my other best friends lives in now. we found that out on our first date.I've also had dreams of my husband and my daughter, before I ever met either of them, but I knew my husband immediately when I met him b/c of it. I've also had dreams of the Winchester house, even though I've never been there, and didn't know about it until I was describing my dreams and my friend got freaked out b/c I knew it better than some of the tour guides there.
12. What's sexy about you? all my exes have told me my breasts and my ability to give an amazing blowjob (I know, way too much info) but I like to think it's the way I look when I get all dressed up in all my hottest goth clothes and go dancing. I'm fucking HOT then.
13. What religion defines you best? I always like to say I'm Kemetic in theory, but Discordian in practice.
14. $10k fell out of the sky and into your lap, what will you do with it? use it as a down payment for my own house... or spend it on random junk we need/want. maybe build a recording studio for me and my husband to use, that way it's something we want but is a good investment to making more money.
15. How much trust do you place in the government? it's getting less and less by the day. I haven't progressed into full-blown conspiracy theorist yet, but I'm getting close, and depending on how the next election goes, I may lose my grip completely.
16. What can you do that I most likely cannot? my 2 talents most people can't do are singing the full range from middle tenor to contralto (and even higher if I've been practicing enough), and being able to twist my thumb around so far it's almost upside down. I'm also a walking talking music trivia and religion encyclopedia. But I'm not sure if you can do any or all of those or not.
17. You're Queen of the World. What's the first thing you'll change? put Bush in jail to be tortured.
18. If you had to choose between Rich and Ugly or Poor and Beautiful, what would you choose? might as well be beautiful if I'm poor already. although you can always buy plenty of plastic surgery if you're rich.
19. A famous QUOTE that totally defines you? I can never remember it exactly, but it's something about "always remember that even your enemies have someone they love, something they fear, and something they miss" or something like that. I'm always trying to get people to see things from other people's point of view, and think empathy is the number one thing most needed in this world.
20. If you could ask me one question, what would you ask? What's your secret obsession?
1. Favorite Pet? Serephina, my cat who died of cancer last year after being with me for 10 years since she was a 4 week old kitten.
2. Any tattoos? If so, Do they have meaning? Yes, two and I wouldn't get a tattoo without meaning.
3. Sign of the Zodiac? Gemini
4. Best book you ever read? Can't answer that. I love too many books.
5. What do you absolutely HAVE to do before you die? Be a mother. That's it, only thing I really cared about.
6. Favorite childhood memory? ... I guess that would be staying the night at my best friend's on New Year's and bouncing on the bed singing to the TMNT sountrack.
7. What are your kids' names? Why'd you name them that? Lillyanna was named that because I love the name and her middle name is a pass down from DH's family that goes wonderfully with her first name.
8. What did you really want to be when you grew up? What do you want for a career now? A mother. I don't want a career.
9. If you could move to another country and start all over again, where would you go? I wouldn't leave here, but if I had to, Canada I guess.
10. You can go back in time and have dinner with a famous person. Who will it be? DaVinci.
11. Something strange that happened to you? Well, I dreamed of my best friend dying while it happened, when I was 12.
12. What's sexy about you? Nothing.
13. What religion defines you best? I'm not defined by a religion. My beliefs are best defined as monotheistic neo-pagan.
14. $10k fell out of the sky and into your lap, what will you do with it? Save it to pay the mortgage for a year or so and enjoy the money DH makes at work. If I have to spend it, then we'd get a new hybrid Minivan, probably a Mazda 5 and then have a loan to pay off the rest.
15. How much trust do you place in the government? I ugess I trust them to keep the sky from falling without warning us first. That's about it. I don't trust them not to provoke someone into dropping it on us. They're doing a poor job of protecting me from my neighbors (but the best they can in a country this size, I suppose) and a poor job giving me freedom of choice (in birth, rights on how my child is raised, etc.) although, again, it could be a LOT worse.
16. What can you do that I most likely cannot? Call anyone on my caller ID ;) Okay, to be more fair... Whistle the William Tell Overture (or any other classical music I know) well.
17. You're Queen of the World. What's the first thing you'll change? Poverty. Everyone would be given a place to live and guaranteed a minimum of food, water and utility every month, no matter what their status in mental health, physical health, ability to work, etc. Might not be the life of their dreams, but they won't die from starvation or the elements or have to live like an animal on the streets waiting for a job to buy them a better life. No stupid rations, just a base of living for everyone, where they go from there being up to them.
18. If you had to choose between Rich and Ugly or Poor and Beautiful, what would you choose? Rich and ugly. I'm used to being ugly and I'm sick of being poor.
19. A famous QUOTE that totally defines you? No single quote can totally define a person unless they have no substance. Hopefully, "I'm useless, but not for long, the future is coming on..." (Gorillaz) defines me closest. If you want a quote that's meaningful to me like everyone else has given: "I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good it does is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent." (Mahatma Ghandi)
20. If you could ask me one question, what would you ask? Is your life where you expected and wanted it to be?
Oh, FYI, most of Europe has just as crappy maternity care as the US, only the mother has fewer rights in making decisions about that care. You must mean Norway if you want good maternity care.

1. Favorite Pet? my cat Spider, he was so nutty. he would hump everything in sight, and once climbed into a grocery bag and didn't come out until he had eaten a whole turkey, bones and all. Nice, I had a kitty like that! His name was Timothy. He also used to follow me around everywhere I went and he drulled like a dog..LOL!
Now, that is a truly unique name! I could see my BFF Travis naming his kids something like that, if he ever decides the have any that is.
That's awesome! Let me know if you ever have any dreams about me..lol
13. What religion defines you best? I always like to say I'm Kemetic in theory, but Discordian in practice. You just gave me two more religions or belief systems to research. I've never heard of either of those.
16. What can you do that I most likely cannot? my 2 talents most people can't do are singing the full range from middle tenor to contralto (and even higher if I've been practicing enough), and being able to twist my thumb around so far it's almost upside down. 10. You can go back in time and have dinner with a famous person. Who will it be? DaVinci. That would be awesome. I love so much of his work. And on top of that he was an amazingly brilliant man, as long as you discount the whole ear decapitation thing.
12. What's sexy about you? Nothing. I very seriously doubt that. You are an awesome woman! That alone is sexy.
15. How much trust do you place in the government? I guess I trust them to keep the sky from falling without warning us first. I'm right there with you on this one.
16. What can you do that I most likely cannot? Call anyone on my caller ID ;) Okay, to be more fair... Whistle the William Tell Overture (or any other classical music I know) well. To-shay
That sounds like an awesome plan! You got my vote!
19. A famous QUOTE that totally defines you? No single quote can totally define a person unless they have no substance. Hopefully, "I'm useless, but not for long, the future is coming on..." (Gorillaz) defines me closest. If you want a quote that's meaningful to me like everyone else has given: "I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good it does is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent."(Mahatma Ghandi) I love this about you. You always seem to be so at peace with the world. I wish we could all be like this.
20. If you could ask me one question, what would you ask? Is your life where you expected and wanted it to be? Currently no, but I'm not giving up yet. I firmly believe that if I keep working for my life goals I will reach them sooner or later.
Oh, FYI, most of Europe has just as crappy maternity care as the US, only the mother has fewer rights in making decisions about that care. You must mean Norway if you want good maternity care.
I seems that I have heard that Norway has great maturnity care. In all honestly I'm not sure specifially where in the best matunity care is, i just know that midwifery is a much larger and much more excepted practice in the East. Their is a much lower cesarean risk, and generally a much better outcome for both mother and child in that area of the world.
