I'm feeling so bummed out right now.
We had Jerry's follow-up ENT appt. this morning and got his tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy scheduled...FOR AUGUST 18TH. That's the first day of school!!!!! That means I will miss taking my little Allysa to her first day of first grade and will not get to pick her up either. I start crying every time I think about it. :0(
We told them we wanted to get it done as soon as possible, but I'm thinking of calling on Monday and rescheduling this. It would mean putting off Jerry's surgery for a little while, but it's not an emergency situation, just something that has to be done sooner or later because of problem tonsils and recurring infections. That way he would not miss his first week of school either.
I'm gonna talk to my hubby about this when he gets home.

Aw, that sucks. Your not being a bad mom though if you reschedule. It is an appointment that won't hurt if it waits an extra 30 days or so. I know how ya feel. It feels like we have to push te other kids to the side sometimes for all the extra stuff Levi needs
oh my I woud feel sad too, I think I would reschedule as well. especially if it can wait a little bit. wishing u the best with your decision hugs!

I think I would call also. Especially if you do have a choice. You will so regret not being there for her first day. Of course if it was an emergency you would do what you had to do - that's what mom's do. :)
