I may have found a way to keep Cassidy in Oregon. Her biological father's sister is a foster care provider for the State of Oregon. I have notified her and let her know about Cassidy's situation. She is going to make some telephone calls on Monday and see what she can do. This includes a phone call to Cassidy's father. So with lots of prayer and sleepless nights on my part, I have a renewed sense of purpose today. I also called Cassidy's great-aunt in California and she is going to call the case worker on Monday. I will keep you updated, as I find out any new information. Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts.

If I may ask- could you put Cassidy's story here in a journal post?  (dropped by for a state & stayed to read because you listed Eagle Point Oregon... used to live on Rogue River Drive in Shady Cove & went to EP middle school for a bit-- then moved with the mother to Prospect..  now in Maryland)

ps- Oregon's child welfare sucks too-- I tried for years to get into foster care when I was little, but the courts sent me home because as the mother said in court "I do drugs, I don't abuse them!"
I ended up on the street when I was 15-- under a bridge & finally safe.
