I am waiting on the results to come in from my daughter testing for APD. When I was at the appointment the Audiologist suggested that we take my daughter to a Speech Pathologist. I advised her that she has speech and occupational therapy in school but the dr said that it was not enough. More money problems to deal with. I have been thinking about taking on another job so I can be able to afford all these doctors appointment for my daughter. I have looked into State assistance but we make to much for her to get help how wonderful. I was speaking to someone tonight who stated that I should look into contacting my State Representative but I am a point right that I am not sure what questions that I should be asking. I am at a loss......

You could just begin by introducing yourself, share your story and then ask about what kind of options are out there for those of us that need help but dont fit into the income brackets they have set and if there are any organizations that can help you.
